Guide/Dock Representative
The Klondike Gold Dredge, fast becoming one of the leading tour
destinations in Skagway, is looking for fun, outgoing, actor wannabes, musicians,
and comedians. Have fun entertaining our guests by presenting the history
of the Klondike Gold Dredge and telling tales of the stampeders who risked
their lives in search of the illusive glimmer of gold. We encourage
participation in developing your own tour, involving your own personal
style and life experiences. Tour guides will give short two-hour tours of
the Klondike Gold Dredge and gold panning or longer five-hour tours that
includes accompanying guests on the White Pass & Yukon Route railway. As a dock representative, you’ll meet
and greet guests as they disembark from cruise ships, direct guests to
their appropriate tour at the dock and manage tour flows. We offer
training, housing, and promotion from within in an atmosphere of laughter, with
the joy of meeting people from all cultures of the world. Tour guides will
also assist guests in our gift shop and make commission on jewelry

to assist the Operations Manager in overseeing general operations relating to
tour products and helping ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. This person will act as a liaison
between office and ship staff, assist in collecting tickets and end of day
settlements. Must have good telephone skills, knowledge of office machines
and filing systems, be computer literate, a self starter and able to
perform with little supervision.
Possess strong organizational and time management skills. Must
exercise good judgment and be able to respond to questions from managers,
vendors and guests. Must be
adaptable and flexible to perform a variety of tasks and present a pleasant
and professional demeanor at all times.

Gold Panning
Attendant

Attendant must be able to multi-task in a fast paced
environment. Gold Panning Attendant
will replenish gold pans at gold panning stations, participate as needed in
gold panning shows, help our guests find their “fortune,” and clean area
between shows. Must have a

Food Preparers
The
Klondike Gold Dredge, fast becoming one of the leading tour destinations in
Skagway, is looking for a reliable couple to prepare food and ensure that
all lunches and snacks are prepared and ready for tour days. A cooperative spirit and the willingness
to start early in the morning is required.
Keep up-to-date inventory checklists. Ability to maintain recipe, production, and portion
standards. Responsible for quality,
efficiency and maintaining a clean working environment. Must be able to meet deadlines and work
with little supervision. This is a
2-person kitchen. We do not have a
restaurant on the premises. All
food is packaged and delivered to the train cars on the docks. Some kitchen experience helpful but
enthusiasm and willingness just as important. Valid drivers license and clean driving history
required. We offer training,
